Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a gallery module that will allow users to create there own photo albums and upload photos as and when they please?

I would also like the user to be able to send out an e-mail containing a link so that other users can watch a slideshow of their gallery.

Basically I am looking to offer what the kodak gallery does from their site, but at a much lower level.

Hi Simon

This mightn't be the solution you are looking for, but if working to a tight budget it may suffice.

We've just used the Blog module for a Pub website we've done recently, but used it as a Gallery.  You can see it here www dot lloyds-hotel dot co dot uk.

Just some slight adjustments to the language, template/skin, and which parts of the module are displayed and it can list different galleries (not needed in our case) and also a calendar if relevant (as needed in our case).

It might not be ideal, but for clients to be able to use it easily... metaPost works great and gives them that instant photo pop-up feature just by dragging & dropping the image file into Windows Live Writer.

Do let me know how it goes, and if you find another solution!
