Hi, All,

Is it possible to change the date field on the repository module so that it relates to the date of the event, not the date the event was created/updated?

Any idea would be appreciated!!

Event? are you talking about the Event module? or the Repository module?  What event are you referring to?

Hi, Steve,

Thanks for your reply.

I am talking about the Repository Module.

I know there is a date field for this module. However, the date would generate automatically relating to the date the item was created/updated. Is it possible to set the date whenever I want? And How to do that?

Best,

Terry

no, the CreatedDate is automatically populated with the current system date/time in the stored procedure that writes the data to the database. You could modify the stored procedure, but I'm not sure how you would change it. If you want the user to be able to enter a date and have that stored as the Creation date, you'd have to make some code changes to display an edit text box on the form, then modify the code-behind to pass that value to the stored procedure, then finally modify the stored procedure to store the passed in value instead of the current system date
