Hi

What do the Signup files found in the ...\Website\admin\Portal and ...\Website\admin\Portal\App_LocalResources folders do? What are they responsible for?

Thanks

All of the files found under the 'Portal' folder are the code files (.vb, .ascx, .ascx.resxused to build the admin/host modules that control portals - template creation, site wizard, sit settings, etc.

Under the App_LocalResources folder, you'll find the resource files that house individual field data for these admin only modules.  You can localize these and customize these files.  For example, in the Site Settings you can change the 'Site Log History' to 'Site Report History' label for that field, and also any help text associated with the question mark tool tip.

Don't change any DataNames - these need to stay the same.  You can change the Value entries to whatever you like.
