I just came across a Microsoft tool called the Database Publishing Wizard. It can be used to publish a DB from a local source to a hosted environment. I'm testing it now.

For details, see:

Hello umbighouse,

I'm going through the same thing with GoDaddy and trying the Database Publishing Wizard.  I've had different problems.  Did you get it to work?

Thanks.

try using Database Publishing Wizard to script the old database, then use SQL server management studio express to transfer/script the .sql to the new database. When creating the new database make sure the username and passwords match the old one. hope it helps
