Is 4.9 going to be released in the next few days? We are running 4.7 & need the upgrade to fix a bug to do with listx & the fck editor - 4.8 is too buggy & human url's do not work with it :(

There's not an official date yet (that I have seen) but I am pretty sure that it is very close.  4.9.0 is in RC status so it should be coming out soon.

Personally I find 4.8.4 to be a lot more stable than 4.7 was, and while human urls do work, they are not the best implementation for Friendly URL formats, I recommend the URL providers available from www.ifinity.com.au, I use the free one on most of the sites I work with.

So if the core team thinks the providers are not that great..  why are they not improved?  Shouldn't have to add on for included functionality.

Because there are only so many hours in the day and only so many users who actually provide useful work to the DNN community.

Bruce Chapman's work is great and provides a great service for people who want to use them.
