Maybe I am missing something here, but where is the install documentation? I found a README in the files, and it shows how to set the connection string for the SQL server.

So, I loaded the website into VS2008 and ran it from within VS2008. The first sign of problems is that the icons are not found for the web pages. I then continued to the point where it tried to install the database scripts and the progress bar rolls on and on but nothing happens.

I don't really have time to dedicate to figuring out how to run DNN - frankly, I am trying to run a business! So, please, if there is any install documentation to help me get this running so that I can evaluate it with minimal fuss, I will appreciate that.

Hi BlueSky,

Setting up DotNetNuke is always a challenge that people run into when they first start using it.  Because you're new and it sounds like you have more important things to do, I would recommend grabbing a hosting account with www.PowerDNN.com so that we can handle all of the setup for you.

We need a local install for testing and evaluation purposes, but will definitely consider your hosting services should we go with DNN.
