Will the new FCK provider (2.00.02) be compatible with DNN version 4.06.02?

i've just checked it's release notes and it looks like it will:

02.00.02  (Works in DNN 4.5.x +)
* upgraded fckeditor to 2.6.3 release build 19836
* fixed control rendering for update panel support
* fixed problems with old issue in DNN around postback handling (included option for old DNN)

due to security issues fixed, I suggest to upgrade to DNN 4.8.4 anyhow!

I would always opt to upgrade DNN, but that is not always an option in a high-speed, low developer development environment with a heavy front end DNN application serving up many modules that would need to be re-tested through QA.  :(
