So, how long do you guys wait for showstopper feedback?

I'm betting nobody's gonna report anything. Its a perfect release!

Antonio it looks like:

might need reopening....

Thanks...

I will update the ticket, and attach a blog post about the issue soon, but FYI, it turns out this is not an issue with the Blog Module, as the packaged localization DOES NOT contain those characters any longer. The reasons why the stay, however, is another issue alltogether (and by design).

Looks for a blog post on www.cto20.com

Good question.  WHat is the process?  I never understood this.  I know there have been a few blogs written, and I have commented on a couple of them to test the features.  Looks like it is woring good.  Is there a set process Antonio, or do you just go by your gut?

Maybe Antonio is doing the documentation in a blog on Windows live writer and is just waiting to publish it the day he hits the switch to release the module finallly. Out of curiousity has anyone tested the new module with Windows Live Writer Wave 3 beta? I am sure it is the same as I dont believe they changed anything on the backend of the program.

Joiseystud,

please notice, that the release is not done by the projejct team but by the core team after the project submission to the release process has passed all tests and verifications. The module is currently being dogfooded on DotNetNuke.com for a couple of days and will be released as soon as this step passed w/o issues. Yes, I did test it with current LiveWriter, but no, not with a beta version.

Thanks Sebastian.  The process is mysterious to a lot of us.  I didnt know the core team hit the final switch. Good info.

As for the Beta of live writer it can be downloaded at http://download.live.com/writer

I think it is a google type beta that is pretty much feature complete, so it should be looked to see if there are any issues with the new blog module.  At least as an FYI for the release notes.
