Thanks Sebastian.  The process is mysterious to a lot of us.  I didnt know the core team hit the final switch. Good info.

As for the Beta of live writer it can be downloaded at http://download.live.com/writer

I think it is a google type beta that is pretty much feature complete, so it should be looked to see if there are any issues with the new blog module.  At least as an FYI for the release notes.

This is a job for the blog module, and I am sure, they will take a look at the final release when it will be available.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

Tested it last night, it works just fine, althought I would stick to the old Live Writer... the beta still has issues.

Thanks Alex, I didn't think the bug was even worth bothering about (at least not right now).

Hello Folks,

Here is the blog post explaining the situation with localization strings:
http://www.cto20.com/Home/tabid/647/EntryId/74/Gotcha-Why-DNN-Module-Upgrades-May-Not-Update-Localization.aspx

As I had thought, the string was indeed fixed in 03.04.00.

Thanks Antonio, sorry for the confusion. I've logged an issue with dotnetnuke.com webmaster so they can fix it for themselves.
