Hello,

I had been using SPD 2007 to develop a Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0 site when I became frustrated at (among other things) trying to make the site standards compliant and accessible to persons with disabilities. (Imagine my delight on learning that Bruce Hopkins had worked, as part of the core team, to address DNN accessibility!).

If possible/practical, however, I would like to continue using the SPD tool to design DNN sites. Is there anyone with experience in using this tool with DNN? Is it useful? Are there any 'gotchas' to be aware of?

Thanks

Bill

as long as the SPD can create plain HTML, you can use it to design HTML skins and containers, but you will need to add some extra effort (with any tool) to create the XML attributes file and do the packaging. Have a look in the Skinning guide (see Resources > Documentation > Downloads in the menu above) for details.
