I was wondering if anyone knows of a module that is similar to MS Project or the like that allows me to link tasks together and setup constraints like working time, etc?  Just to give an example use case... I set up an entire week worth of work, say mon to friday... 5 different tasks.  Task 1 -> Task 2->Task3->, Task 4-> Task 5->

Then it rains on thursday meaning no work can happen thursday.  THe other tasks need to push out that day.  If this was MS project I would simply make that day "non working time" and everything would push out one working day and thursdays work would move to friday, fridays to the following monday, etc.

Currently we set this up into the event module and manually move the items if there is a work delay. This becomes tedious and hurts productivity to have to manually manipulate the data. We are doing this every day for the next year or so with many items so a solution thats automated would be helpful.  Let me know if this exists already or if not maybe some advice on how to proceed.  Thanks in advance.

Wow!  This is an excellent idea that would be very profitable to a Snowcovered-type vendor.

Although MS Project rules the roost, having a DNN module that could encompas the bulk of the PMI standards would be incredibly useful.  In fact, if I were a programmer/developer, I'd quickly become a PMI supporter/sponsor, gain their support, and develop this module right quick.

How about this? Snowcovered.com is my favorite module shop. There are bunch of screenshots on the page too. I never used MS Project so I am not sure this is what you are looking for. Good luck!

Then it rains on thursday meaning no work can happen thursday.

Is your office outside???

No.  We are running a construction project  that depends upon dry weather (replacing roofs and siding).  Thx for the link.
