Probably a stupid question but how do I rename the Virtual directory that IIS points to the DNN installation?

localhost/dotnetnuke and domain.com/dotnetnuke work fine but I want domain.com/web or something similar.

Creating a new virtual dir, pointing it at the dnn install dir and deleting the old one means everything stops working.  Leaving the dotnetnuke in meanslocalhost/web is redirected to localhost/dotnetnuke

TIA

Create a new site and have it redirect to your DNN site in IIS site.

there is an issue that some of the content references (e.g. image paths) are not stored relative to portal root, but server relative, i.e. including the virtual directory name, therefore using virtual directories is not preferred if you want to transfer the content to a differently named vDir or web site root later. AFAIR Engage has a free script to search and replace in all Text/HTML modules, which might be of help.
