There is a error msg poping up as "Object reference not set to an instance of an object", how to fix it up?

What Forum Version?  Was the forum Upgraded from a 3.x version?  What DNN Version is using?

Looks like the iUpgradeable are not running well on a upgrade of your Forum.  If you not upgrade and it is a new installed Forum, please check the Event Viewer and post the errorlog of the issue.

Solved problem by manually adding a new forum in the database.  Once that was done DNN functionality began to work.
