Hi all

I didn't quite know where to put this post because of the setup that I am running.

I want to start creating my own module and I am running VS2003 with .NET2 and ASP.NET2 installed. How do I go about doing this? I have DNN4.0.2 installed. I cannot open the DNN solution and add to it because DNN4 was built with VS2005. All the templates I've found for making your own module are for VS2003 but with .NET1.1 and ASP.NET1.

Please help with suggestions to my dillemma.

Thanks

Darryl

Hi,

I'd say you should either go for VS2003, DNN3, ASP.NET 1.1 or VS2005, DNN4, ASP.NET 2.0.
I don't think it's wise to try to intermingle those.

You did know that your asp.net 1.1/DNN3-module will work in DNN4/ASP.NET 2.0 also?
