I've been trying to figure out what the purpose of the AccessingUser property of Localization.GetSystemMessage is and I'm not seeing it. I see that it is accessed to be assigned the administratorid from the deleteuser funciton in the usercontroller and I see that it is assigned to the currently logged in user if there is an HTTPContext Present. I just can't seem to figure out what it's there for and if it is used at all.

Can anyone shed some light?

Ryan

www.ArrowNuke.com

Accessing user is the user who gets the message displayed or sent, while the user set in tokenreplace is the user, whose information to be displayed. If you retrieve your own password, both are the same, but if an admin get notified about a new registered user, he is the accessing user and different security settings may apply. This is even more evidemt e.g. in UserDefinedTable, if you are showing information about users, where admins get other details desplayed then ordinary registered users or even unauthenticated users.

Great Info - thanks.

After some more digging last night, I found how the AccessingUser was used to determine wheter profile properties should be tokenized, but I didn't that in the User Defined Table.

I appreciate you making yourself available, Sebastian.
