 Hi

Has anyone had any experience using the Active Directory modules from CodeFreak?

The developer doesn't seem to have a website, so all contact seems to be through snowcovered.com. I was thinking of purhasing two of the modules one to handle the instant authentication for Active Directory users, and the other one to allow users to edit some of their information then sync it back.

I did read another post regarding someone had concerns about these modules comprimising security but thought I would get everyones thoughts and if possible experiences on these controls.

I noticed that there is a DNN project for Active Directory so maybe this might be the answer but I don't really no much about it's capabilities.

Hi martinm,

I am in the same situation where I would need more info on this and have been searching for the past couple of weeks. If any buddy would share some experience, it would be appreciated !

All I can say is it's a very bad sign if they don't respond. My advice would be to avoid any developer like that and try and find another alternative.

I agree it doesn't look great for Code Freak when no one seems to have any feedback to give. Does anyone know of some good alternatives then?

I need to be able to auto logon using Active Directory so users don't have to type in user names and passwords, but I also need to allow users to change some of their profile information via the DNN portal.

Any pointers on this would be greatly welcomed.
