Can someone point me to a simple chart or place that shows the features and enhancements between 3x and 4x modules etc ASP.Net compatabilities I know 1.1 vs 2. for 4x but for the life of me I dont seem to be able to find a straight forward example or docs on th benifits to going to 4x other than no migration from 3x.

Can someone please help

3.2.2 and 4.0.2 are functionally equivalent.  The purpose for the two separate releases is simply to provide for development & runtime on both environments.  The forthcoming 3.3/4.1 release will also be functionally equivalent.

If you have a choice, I would recommend working with the ASP.Net 2.0 platform.  At some future ( as yet undetermined date ) these code bases will begin to diverge as module developers wish to take more advantage of ASP.Net 2.0 only features.

Thank you for this information I seem to want it now rather than later LOL

Since I'm having so much trouble getting DNN 4x to install on godaddy servers I just might have to stay with 3x for now. I have some other posts dealing with the DNN 4x installation on Godaddy I know I know I should have known better than to try to use a host that seems to have some issues installing on.  I have read 100 post on this or more. But all my other work is there and was trying to conserve my fingers from going to another hosting plan.

perhaps you can shed some light on this subject . I did recieve some info about godaddy not having  sql 2005 yet so this may be cuasing me some grief !!
