It looks like something on the server has changed to tell you the truth.  I would recommend first restarting the site, then restarting teh server, and finally contacting your hosting provider.  Honestly, this error looks like it is more hosting provider-focused and will most likely be something that they have to resolve on their end.

 It is a shared host with GoDaddy so I don't have access to do that. I have openned a call with them hoping they will resolve the permissions problem. I believe it is a IIS permissions issue. I think they changed the security and that is causing the problem but I can't be sure. Now I am playing the waiting game with them. We have not made any changes to the site for several days so it seems strange that now I am getting a security execution problem. I have verified permissions on in the root directory and they are correct. So the only other thing I believe it could be is an IIS issue. Godaddy on the other hand thinks it is a scripting error with DNN. We will see.

Hi there!

I have the same problem on Godaddy, and it must be from the provider, and nothing to do with my (our) code not running under the trust (godaddy runs medium with with less restrictive webPermission, OleDb and ODBCPermission).

I'm waiting for a answer from them.

I've created a test page like this:

<%@ Page Language="c#" %>
<script Language="c#" runat="server">
</script>

which returns this (page assembly name changes the name on each execution) :

Server Error in '/' Application.

Execution permission cannot be acquired.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Security.Policy.PolicyException: Execution permission cannot be acquired.
