Hello,

I bought the Oracle Data Provider from Acuiti yesterday and am trying to install DNN 4.9 to use an Oracle DB. I have created a blank user and also modified the two instances in the OracleWeb.config file to reflect the user credentials and machine name on which the database is installed. I have also renamed the OracleWeb.config to web.config. When I try to browse to the Default.aspx file from IIS I get the following error. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rajesh

Rajesh - I sent you an email regarding the error you're receiving. Could you please confirm receipt and let me try and help you sort this out. It looks like you purchased version 4.0.2 of AcuitiDP and are trying to connect to version 4.9 of DotNetNuke. This will not work...

Rajesh - you could get IIS to work in classic mode which should solve the problem you're seeing (from IIS)... The other thing like I'd mentioned before is to make sure you're using the 4.0.2 version of DotNetNuke since that's the version of the provider (oracle) that you've got...

I have the same problem, but i'm working with MSSQL 2005, this is my first time trying to instal dnn so maybe something with web.config or database users could be also wrong
