Has anyone done a feature comparison of YAF and Active Forums?

I can say that Active Forums is great. It is well coded and has excellent support.

As a user, I think that Active Forums is the "gold standard" for DotNetNuke forums ...

I understand Active Forums is quite dominant in the dnn world.  I'm leaning away from the core forum module because I have seen quite a few bugs being reported.  My requirements are pretty simple, but I also want to leave room for future expansion.  Right now I need to be able limit the length of a post, use a "bad word" filter, and integrate with dnn user roles.  From that stand point, would Active Forums still be the way to go?

Unless they've upgraded, YAF isn't a direct DNN module.  But  Active Forums has always been the way to go.
