I have Win XP Pro, IIS, VS 2005 Pro, and SQL 2005 Developer Edition (NOT SQL 2005 Express).  I am following the tutorial at http://forums.asp.net/1114393/ShowPost.aspx.

After renaming it, I can install DotNetNuke_4.0.2_StarterKit.vsi fine.

In VS, I can create a new web site using the template (DotNetNuke Application Framework (I picked HTTP and Visual Basic)

But when I right-click on App_Data, then Add New Item..., then pick SQL database, then accept the default settings, I get:

"Connections to SQL Server files (*.mdf) require SQL Server Express 2005 to function properly.  Please verify the installation of the component, or download from the URL http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=49251"

I tried creating a database using the SQL Server 2005 instructions at <dnn>/Documents/SQLServer2005Config.html but I don't know how to add that into the project (right-click on App_Data, then Add Existing Item... then browse to the file, then it says "cannot use this file it is locked by another application" (or similar) but it shouldn't be.  Just in case, I stopped and restarted SQL Server but I still get the "locked" message when I try to Add Existing Item... in VS.

Help appreciated!  Thanks.
