        During the dotnetnuke development ,i take    two module (webcontrol .ascx) and add both dotnetnuke portal

one for category and other for detail search. after click category treeView node it transfer session  info to detail module .

but during that action i had to two time click after transfer session info of category node to detail search page , please tell how handle it .

mind you: using session variables is not supported by DNN. YOu could also just pass a querystring var in the url, or use intermodule communication

Respected sir ,

   Actuly This two module on same page of DotNetNuke Category(treeview) and Search module ,

i use Responce.Redirect("/DotNetNike1/CatgeoryPage.ascx?path="&TreeView1.selectvalue)

and on other module Dim str as string=Request.QueryString("Path")

But it give error This page not found ,i want transfer node path to search module  afterClick treeView node ,But here i had to click two time on Category node  useing session variable

I'm confused by what you wrote here. I think he should be able to use session variable in dnn, after all dnn is just another asp.net application. Do I miss something here?

Session variables are not used in DotNetNuke, because they are not supported in web farm scenarios.
