Hi,

I create a folder (with a simple website in HTML) inside my DotNetNuke portal.

When going to this folder, I'm automatic redirect to the portal! Is a Web.Config definition, what's happen??

Can I have website (in HTML, not another DNN) inside DNN without automatic redirect?

How I make this work, thanks a lot.

Regards,

DD

if you want to integrate a non-DNN app inside a subfolder, place it physically outside of the dnn directory tree on you hosting space and use a virtual directory in IIS placed in a subpath of the DNN site, pointing to your directory.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for reply.

I followed your information but has the same problem!

I have this:

C:\web\DNN1

C:\web\DNN2

C:\web\mySite

Create a virtual directory to "mySite" and in IIS placed in a subpath of the DNN1 site.

And get this error:

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Humm, strange, why go read the Web.Config from DNN1 ?

Any help, thanks.

This looks like an issue of the DNN1 isntallation which for sure needs to be working properly

 Hi Sebastian,

Thanks again.

The "DNN1" is working fine!

If I go to dnn1 website all is working, but If go to "www.dnn1.com/mySite/" get the error showed!!!

Is possible "block" the read of Web.Config?

Is possible in IIS define to read only the Web.Config inside "MySite", but not the Web.Config from DNN1 ?

Thanks a lot,

DD
