I've searched the forums, both this one and the ASP.NET hosted forum for an appropriate place to post / discuss feature requests to the core implemention and could not find a specific forum So here's mine:

I would like to see the security model modified to include an "Author" role which is directly linked to a single user, not a group of users.  The administrator could then grant a user Author privileges for a page, module.etc.  The author role would be limited to one user.  one of the situations that I have encountered on several installations is the need to give one user edit priviliges on one page or for one module.  The only way I have been able to solve it is to create a security role for that page, which could eventually result in hundreds, even thousands of security roles (one for each user).

Thats my story, and I'm sticking to it

(some may notice that I posted this on the ASP net forum as well - so I AM technically guilty of Cross posting)
