Not sure if this is where this should go...

Is there anyway to make the news module stay on all the pages across a website. Ie I have the news module on the home page and the about page but the info is different. I want the home page and all other pages on the site to have the news module with the same info in it without needing to update it on every page. Thanks

Not exactly sure if this is what you want to do, but if you want to create a news module on a page, and have that module display on all pages, just go to the module settings, expand the Advanced Settings area and check the box.

This will display the module in all of the pages.  I use it to display a Headline ticker in the top pane on all of the pages.

The info may show different data if the feed is refreshed, but I've found it to be pretty consistent.  Hope that helps.

Cheers
