I have an error on my original home page that I can't seem to fix so I created another home page, renamed the original home page to home2 and then tried to delete it but I get the message:  A page defined as Home, Splash, Login or User Page for the portal, or the last visible Page in the portal cannot be deleted.

Please advise how I can remove the error on the original home page or delete it.

The error I get on the original home page is:  Unhandled error loading module.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Unhandled Error Adding Module to ContentPane ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.UI.Containers.ActionBase.set_PortalModule(PortalModuleBase Value) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.ProcessActionControls(PortalModuleBase objPortalModuleBase, Control objContainer) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Please advise how to remove the module or remove this "home" page.  Thanks!

Sue

Sue you will probably find in your admin settings ( avanced i think ) that the page has been assigned as the home page, this would have also updated the name to home2 when you changed it. If you go into there and dial up the new home as your home page you then should be able to delete home2
