I was using IE6 at the time, I do have javascript enabled.  I have since rolled back to forum version 3.10.04.

The javascript error I would get was about 'window.opener' being undefined, if I hadn't rolled back ,I would give you a more precise message.  When I also tried to search for a Role using the textbox the page within the frame which usually displays the matching roles displayed with an compile error.

Sorry I can't give the exact messages, I was in a hurry to get a fix and did't save them.

Hmmm.  It's always easier to find the answers if you know what you are looking for.  :)  Sorry I'm feeling Zen this morning.  :)

I thnk I remember reading here in the forums somewhere that the latest version of the forums is only for DNN 3.1.1 and above.  There are a bunch of fixes in the new version -vs- 3.10.04 so you might want to upgrade your DNN version. There is a lot of stuff that use the ClientAPI and I'm pretty sure that changed in 3.1.1.  The ClientAPI is what handles a lot of the clientside JavaScript stuff and is probably why you are getting the JavaScript errors.
