Is it possible using MS Access database instead of SQL Server? for dotNetNuke? If so, how?

Currently I setup a SQL Server database and ran the website for the first time. It installed successfully. Now I would like to use MS Access database instead. Is it possible to switch over? Or do I need to install a new clean dotNetNuke website/folder?

This is not possible, dnn will not run on MS Access. Last version compatible with Access was 2.1.2.
Just answered the same question  here.

2.1.2 eh

Ok, I will go look for that and start using that. Hopefully it will run under .NET2.0

I would have the question as to why you would want to run under MS-Access? Sql Server Express is a free product and a far superior DB for the site.    MS-Access has a place, but its really not for running the backend of a portal.

If the issue is hosting, there are hundreds of places that have SQL server set up.  I'd really be curious as to any reason for wanting to run under MS-Access.

Btw, the answer, "No", is not technically accurate.  The answer "not out of the box" would be better.  You could write a MS-Access data provider for DNN v.4 and use that.
