Not sure if I am just not searching for the correct terms...
I have been developing a basic custom module for DNN 4.x.x to get familiar with everything.  I ended up going with "adding New File, DNN Module Template" automation.  I have removed most everything I did not need and added the code i wanted...the module is still working fine.  I want to know where I can remove the menu items when logged in as admin "import content" and "export content" and also how to remove the module specific settings when you click "settings."
Thanks again for everyone's time and help.

There are a number of options interfaces, that if used in the module code will automatically add entries. If you remove the

Implements Entities.Modules.IPortable

line, then import and export will not appear (you'll want to remove the unneeded importmodule and exportmodule functions also). You'll find this line in your *controller.vb file.

As for the additional menu items, they'll be added in the main module file, take lines that look like "Dim Actions As New Entities.Modules.Actions.ModuleActionCollection Actions.Add(..."
