Anytime I install new DNN modules the tranaction log fills up. The hoster says I do not have permissions to delete the logs so I have to e-mail in a request.  I am wondering if part of the problem here due to my hosting .... i.e. is the limit set on the transaction log too small. Do other people have this issue with their hoster? does their hoster allow them to clear the transaction logs.

When the transaction log fills up my DNN site does not load and I am left with a big error message below

The transaction log for database ''???????' is full. To find out why space in the log cannot be reused, see the log_reuse_wait_desc column in sys.databases

I would ask your hosting provider what kind of maintenance plan your database is on. If they are not maintaining the database regularly, it could be part of the reason the transaction log is filling up.
