Hello ,

I have a module that should not be accessed by the admin and host users , I just want to allow access to specific users ( with a specific roles ) .

I want to apply that for all controls in the module , what is the best way to do that ? is it enought to check the user role in the main module control ?

Thanks

By default, host and admin can access all modules (particularly host). To apply for specific roles, you can do in the page settings, so the module will inherit the permission from the current page, or for more specific you can set the permission on the module setting itself.

Hope this help.

To truly hide a module from admin/host you will have to control visibility of it yourself as DNN out of the box does NOT include a method to limit modules in that manner.
