I didn't find this in Gemini but I thought I discuss it here just in case.

If you make module "X" as your main event calendar and you create module "Y" as a view calendar that's a listview all the events on that view ("Y) are linked so you can view details. On the details display you have the option to edit which is nice, but if the event in question is a recurring event the recurring options do not appear and if you complete the edit (i.e. select update) all the recurring options for that event are lost.

Can someone else try that to be sure it's reproducable?

Also, from a feature standpoint clinking on the event in an event list is a great feature, but displaying the details in that module isn't always a good idea. I would like to see two options. A) clicking on an event for details would option a pop-up. b) Clicking on an event for details would return you to the "Master" module and display the details there, even if that page wasn't currently active.

My reasoning for this is I often have a "mini" list of events on a main page (example: www.twincitytc.org). The frame / cell where that data is displayed is formatted for the list, not for the details. Displaying the details elsewhere would allow them to be displayed in an easier to read manner.

Keith,

I've just checked this in the next version of 4.1.0. This problem seems to be resolved (I haven't gone back at the moment to check 4.0.2). There has been alot of work done on recurrences in 4.1.0 (see here for details), which changes the way it works. Hopefully all should be OK.

With regard your second point, you should be able to select the option 'Event Detal New Page' to have the detail page open in a new page rather than in the same space of the orginal module. Let us know how you go with that option.

Cheers
Roger
