Hi, I just upgraded a multi portal installation to 4.9.0 so the FCK editor upgrade too I guess.
The strange thing is, on portal 1, everything goes ok.
But on portal 2, when I use FCk, it defaults to times new roman, while it used to be showing Arial.

And when I copy text from another text editor, and I remove a link from that piece of text, the color of the link will still show in the editor.

Has anyone got an idea how this is possible?

About the default font, The editor will use your default font specified in your .css files. The difference you are seeing in 4.9 could a result of a change in the default value for CSS generation. Old versions used Static, now 4.9 uses dynamic. You can change it in your web.config. The other solution is to fix your own .css

About the second issue. please review your source and verify that no other html tag is included with some color applied.
