Hello -

So I just recently started working with DNN's Blog module. I've tried my best to figure out the module myself, but I'm still having some trouble with a few issues. Is there any chance that anyone would mind answering a few questions for me?

1) Is there any way to delete comments on an entry (while logged in as an administrator) once they've been approved?

2) I understand that the Blog module is intended to support multiple blogs across a site. If I only have a single blog, is there any way to display only that blog's personal page?

3) Is there any way to backdate an entry, short of manipulating or changing the database?

Thank you for reading.

Hi Jon,

here are the answers:

  1. Yes, login as admin, locate the comment to delete, hit the Edit link, and on the very bottom click the Delete link.
  2. Yes, again login as admin and navigate to Module Options. Chose a blog in the Personal Blog Page dropdown menu.
  3. You will need to execute a SQL script being logged in as host, but the easiest way would be using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express, that is free and veru handy.

Let me know if you need further help.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
