How does DotNetNuke handle session timeout.  I would like to set the timeout to 15 minutes.  The way if the user is idle for more than 15 minutes and they come back I would like the user to be redirected to the logon page.  Is this possible and if so how do I go about configuring it.

Thanks!

Apparently in DNN4 this is supposed to be controlled in the web.config.

      <forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="60" />

Change the 60 to a higher value. I believe it's in minutes.

Hi

I use session variables in my dotnetnuke modules.  All session variables are empty after about 30 min.  I need to extend it to about 2 Hrs. I changed possible settings in IIS and web.config.  But not working yet.

<forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="60" />  It can only effect on login timeout.

Please help
