Hi All,

It would be really interesting to hear how DNN is being used in different problem domains, particularly if one is wanting to use it as an alternative. One hears how it is used heavily in the "Internet CMS" space, but I am sure it is used to solve other specific problems with the help of specific modules.

Possible domains may include:

a) Document Management for a company.

b) Workflow for business processes.

c) Setting up a community club.

d) Organising a community function.

e) Organising a community campaign.

f).... whatever else...

I, for one, would find it EXTREMELY useful to have a specific forum which listed out posts that described specific uses of DNN and how they achieved it.

What say all ?

Thanks,

Sam

Sorry, but I don't see an advantage in creating a new forum for multiple subjects (there are a number of other requests), because navigation and moderation would become a nightmare. We are aware, that search function of this module has issues and AFAIK the team is working at it, so next version will solve this issue and allow to find associated subjects easily.

Sebastian,

Can I make a strong request to enable some form of structured discussion and presentation of where DNN is being used. I really think this is very valuable, particularly for folks who do not specialise in the internet space. I feel DNN has a lot to offer, but odd cryptic threads about these alternative uses makes finding out about them harder...

If we had such a facility then I think we would be able to enlighten and inspire many potential new users and uses..... Without this knowledge DNN will remain in its main and current usage space.

Thanks,

Sam

Sebastian,

Thanks for this.. Really, Really appreciated. I think this would be a great way of sharing our experiences and inspire the growth of DNN into new areas....

I look forward to hearing how you get on.

Sam
