Hello all, I was noticing that I can turn off the 'allow print' option for each module in the blog module, but when I open individual entries, the print icon is still there.  Is there a way to turn it off?

Also, is there a way to add 'previous' and 'next' buttons to the blog to make navigation through the entries easier.  I've also noticed that when I click a month on the Blog Archive module, it displays all entries for that month except for the last entry...anything I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dave,

you can always "hide" the print link. Just log in as admin, goto Admin > Site Settings > Stylesheet Editor, and at the very bottom add

.blog_print {
display: none;
}

Dont' forget to hit the Save Stylesheet link and go back to the entry page to see if the fix works. You may need to refresh the page to see your changes in action. Let me know if you encounter any difficulties

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

 Hi Dario,

Thanks for the reply.  I tried adding that, but it didn't work.  The stylesheet in the editor is empty, is that correct?

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,

the textbox displays the content of the actual portal.ccs file. If you didn't make any changes before, it may be empty, indeed. Now try adding the code I gave you in the previous post, save the stylesheet, go back to the entry page and refresh the page (hit F5). The changes should apply, and the print link should be hidden. Let me know if you encounter any difficulties.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Dario,

No luck.  I added the code you provided, saved the stylesheet, updated, logged out, logged in, openend an entry, refreshed, and the print icon is still there.

Dave
