Folks, I have installed Dotnetnuke on a IIS6, MS SQL Server under Visual Studio 2005.  Everything builds, the database is populated but when the site tries to start, I get the error

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Source Error:

Line 81:
Line 82: ' all of the logic which was previously in Application_Start was moved to Init() in order to support IIS7 integrated pipeline mode ( which no longer provides access to HTTP context within Application_Start )
Line 83: Initialize.Init(app)
Line 84:
Line 85: ' run schedule if in Request mode

Source File: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\WebSites\DotNetNuke Website1\App_Code\Global.asax.vb    Line: 83

Any ideas what I need to do to fix this?

Hi Bellegarde,
I had the same issue on my developer server; it turns out that I copied an old version of DotNetNuke.dll into my bin directory.  Check your Bin\DotNetNuke.dll file version.  It should be 4.9.0.85.
