Please forgive me if this has been mentioned. I can not compile this version of the Web site. The Libary builds successfully, however.

I am finding 100's of missing Imports of namespaces in the classes in the web site\project.

Is this by design? A trick to teach the framework to the new developer?

you probably forgot to rename either development.config or release.config to web.config. visual studio creates its own web.config if one is misssing, the dnn web.config contains lots of references used during compile time
