Hello, I today saw that the DNN Store Module inserts in the address border a CategoryID and probably thereby internally works.

Like this: http://192.168.0.4/dnn/Store/tabid/57/CategoryID/1/Default.aspx

How can I realize this in my modules?

I tried it with Response.Redirect, but without success.

Hi,

You could try

Response.Redirect(DotNetNuke.Common.

Globals.NavigateURL("YourControllKeyName",new string[]{"a=b"})); this will make the friendly URL name like http://yoursite/Moduletitle/tabid/1/ctl/YourControllKeyName/a/b/Default.aspx

Or if you want to navigate to a tabid check one of the other overloads for the NavigateUrl

Hello admlange,

No, then that does not function!

The Store and Blog Module of DotNetNuke work differently. I must be able to indicate thereby as many as desired sides, as in a catalog.

The Store generated:

http://192.168.0.4/dnn/Store/tabid/57/CategoryID/1/Default.aspx
http://192.168.0.4/dnn/tabid/57/CategoryID/1/ProductID/1/Default.aspx

The Blog generated:

http://192.168.0.4/dnn/Blog/tabid/58/BlogID/1/Default.aspx

Without ctl in the address line!

I hope you can me thereby help.

Hi,

It could be i'm just not understanding the question. I just put this in my code:

Response.Write("<a href=\"" + Globals.NavigateURL(78, "", "category=1&product=2&image=3") + "\">click here</a>");

where 78 is the tabid for my home page and it generated:

http://site2/Home/tabid/78/category/1/product/2/image/3/Default.aspx

This Should really do the trick. Of course it is neater to use an asp:linkbutton or hyperlink but this was just for testing. If this is not what you are lokking for please let me know.

Hth.
