www.alphateksolutions.com    look at the welcome to image.

this only appears in internet explorer, any other browser and the text looks normal and sharp. eg. firefox, safari, etc.

Hi

I'm assuming that you are talking about the welcome image in the content area of your page there right? I'd be pretty surprised if it weren't due to your image being resized. Somewhere along the way there must have been a pixel size setting made other than its default. Probably in the image gallery screen (that blue pop up screen where you insert images into your content modules). Changing the dimensions will squeeze or stretch your image making it look like that. Right click over the image in the edit screen, go to image properties and delete any dimension info currently there and see if it reverts back to original.
