Hi Everybody,

Anyone know if there are plans to make a PDF renderer class? I can imagine that it would be great for outputting modules in PDF (seen the request somewhere here) but also for every developer needing to output PDF's as part of reports, invoice, etc...

I have things working with itextsharp but must say i would rather use a xsl-fo renderer. The xml rendering capabilities of itextsharp are not xsl-fo compatible.

I already fooled around with nfop for a bit but using something that is built upon something else in an application I build sounds like a lot of licensing issues. A DNN Core class would be wonderfull.

I currently do not have the time to make this but would not mind helping someone who takes the lead....

there are numbers of 3rd party components for PDF rendering, AFAIK there are no plans in the core, due to limited resources and stretegic concerns.
