I am getting a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"  error at random times while I am using  DNN.   I have seen this error on numerous other threads and I know that I am not the only one having this problem.  Even after reading the  forums I have not found any good solutions to the problems.  Someone suggested it was a caching problem, and posted some code changes that could be made to other files, but in DNN4.0.2 those blocks of code are no longer present in the specified files (the semantics have changed).  Is this issue related to a url-rewrite problem?  I checked the event log table and have not found any useful entries, but I will still post  my log  at the bottom of this post.  Also I check my portal table and found that  an entry had been made in the table for my website.  Any help would be appreciated  because of the severity of the problem.  Below is some  entries in my log file.
