Hello,

Has anyone else noticed this. i.e.

  1. Create/add a new event
  2. Add a title, time, etc.
  3. Add event Notes via the RTE editor
  4. Add an image in the Image Settings, and
  5. The RTE editor contents are cleared...

I'm using DNN 4.8.4 and Events 04.00.02

Just curious.

Jack

Hi Jack,

This is a problem with FCKEditor when using Partial rendering to reduce postbacks. I think the team will need to take a further look at this, however I think work is being done in the core to help resolve this issue.

Roger,

Thanks for the information.  My workaround for the moment, is as follows:

  1. Add/create the new event.
  2. Add title, start/end dates,
  3. Add Event Notes via RTE editor.
  4. Set recurring event data (if needed).
  5. Update (save) the event.
  6. Go back and edit the event, click on "Display Image" (check-mark) under Image settings, then select appropriate event image, then finally
  7. Update/save the event.

Jack
