We have several roles setup. Content is displayed based on the roles assigned to the user. We have several forms that the user fills out and upon completion the users role gets changed. However, the DNN does not seem to recognize the the security role has changed right away. If you log out and log back in the new role takes effect.

Is there anyway to prevent this caching and have DNN recognize the role change immediatly?

portalroles are cached in a cookie so you need to expire them, something like the following should get you there:

DotNetNuke.Security.PortalSecurity.ClearRoles();
         DataCache.ClearUserCache(PortalId, Username);
