Sorry for the newbie question, but I've been unable to find an answer to this one. I've been successful installing and configuring DNN 3.2.2 sites on my (local) machine, but have been completely unable to move any of them to a hosted environment. One thing that is a bit unusual is that the database I've used has always been the one at my ISP-never on my local machine. (I figured that would be easier so I wouldn't have to transfer anything from one database to another) Being a newbie, I just FTP'd my entire DNN folder over to my hosted environment and I get the

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

error-and of course that line of code is already there.(!) Does it have anything to do with the fact that my DNN folder lives at www.mysite.com/DNN as a subfolder off a different site that I operate? Do the DNN files need to live in the root folder? Could it simply be a permissions issue on the folder? (database permissions are fine)

Thanks in advance!
