Hi,

Wanted to know if DNN provides the ability of the host to restrict certain features of the DNN administration for the admins/ users. Our intention is to have the admin / or other user the ability to just edit the text in the web pages and not allow to see even the "show control panel".  May be we could give the ability to add pages with text module but not allow to see other modules etc.

Just wondering if there is an ability to control the role of the admins /users.

This is my understanding of how it works and if I'm mistaken I'm sure someone will jump in with a correction.

An admin is going to have full control over the whole site, page editors have full control over a page, and module editors have full control over a module. I think in Page Editor gets the Control Panel but I'm not sure if a module editor gets it (though I think they get the View/Edit/Design option).

I'm also going to move this post to one of the more general forums as it doesn't really have to do with the Authentication providers.
