Hi,

Yes, you answered my question, thanks. I think what you're looking for requires minimal programming, and maybe it already exists out there. Given that you don't need security per se, you can go for straight download of files. That requires very little technical knowhow to do. Maybe someone else will jump in the thread with a ready made solution. If not, contact me by email and we'll have a more detailed look at what it would take to make it.

I have made the download module fenman19 was looking for with a little financial help from his side. We cut the costs and it is now available free of charge here:
