Michael,

Would it be possible to do this without having to have the whole source tree involved?  The link posted regarding WAP module development shows setting up the project in the DesktopModules directory. What if you don't want your project to be strung under the DNN tree?

Can I simply add post-build commands to the module project that would copy/create the ascx files into the DesktopModules/Modulename folder and the .dlls from the ProjectTarget directory to the DotNetNuke/bin folder?

Thanks,

Jesse Wolfe

You can do that but I don't have any examples.

Jesse, go to Codeplex and download the TDD DNN Module. It is configured in the way you want. It points to the DNN dll and a build tasks creates your package in a directory you set in the project file.
