DNN 4.9 Works fine at my local pc ( laptop )

But, when I migrate to shared hosting, and access through browser,

it redirects to my localhost

I don't know what's the problem. No matter what I do, it does same thing.

Anyone has any idea ???

It seems that the base URL of your dotnetnuke website is still setup as 'localhost' and hence it is re-directing to the localhost. You will need to make this change in your DNN database configuration table to update it to your domain/website name.

Thanks,

- Rick

before transferring your site you need to add the new site address as portal alias:

  • Log in as superuser ("Host")
  • go to site settings in Admin menu
  • scroll down to the far end
  • add your new site address as additional alias
  • transfer your site.
